Environmental Management Administration

As the end of the year approaches, to help households easily clean out the old and bring in the new, the administration and the Chemicals Administration, Ministry of Environment jointly held the “Leading the Charge to Protect Our Homes: Lunar New Year Spring Cleaning” press conference, delivering several reminders to the public to welcome the New Year safely and comfortably.

Make sure to follow the four steps of preventing vector mosquito breeding:

• Inspect: inspect containers in and outside the house containing water.
• Empty: empty water in containers and place containers upside-down.
• Clean: clean the house of redundant containers.
• Scrub: scrub containers to prevent vector mosquito eggs.
