Environmental Management Administration

To reinforce communications between north Taiwan counties and cities' environmental protection, prosecution, and police agencies, the Northern Center of Environmental Management, Environmental Management Administration engages relevant organizations to share experiences through regularly convened work communication report meetings.

In Q1 of 2024, the Northern Environmental Management Work Communication Report Meeting saw the New Taipei City Environmental Protection Bureau share pollution investigation experiences in New Taipei City. Exchanges and sharing were focused on "2023 Individual Waste Inspection Plan Implementation Results," "New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Hsinchu Country Pollution Investigation Experiences," and "Environment Protection Bureau Cooperation and Reminder Notes for the Northern Region Public Restroom Construction Subsidy Plan."

To reinforce the communication and interaction between the administration, environmental protection agencies of county and city governments in the northern region, and the Seventh Special Police Corps of the National Police Agency,Ministry of the Interior, during the Northern Communication Report Meeting of Q2 and Q3, 2024 exchanges focused on "Disaster Response Resource Preparation and Reporting," "Landfill Optimization and Transition," "Environmental Law Enforcement Experiences (including Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Operation Instructions), and "2024 Local Environmental Protection Agency Performance." To enforce environmental management and environmental law enforcement, the Northern Center of Environmental Management regularly holds Environmental Management Work Communication Reporting Meetings, and today, Aug. 20 (2024), an experience exchange event is added.

Through Communication Reporting Meetings, the center made in-depth exchanges with the environmental protection agencies of county and city governments in the northern region and discussed various important environmental protection issues such as waste treatment management, emphasizing inspecting and supervising businesses. In terms of public restroom construction and maintenance, the center has asked the environmental protection agencies of county and city governments in the northern region to complete public restroom constructions according to planned schedules and encourage business and civil organizations to adopt public restrooms in order to build a more comprehensive public restroom environment.

In terms of environmental protection effort coordination, meeting participants held in-depth discussions about disaster response, landfill consolidation, optimization, and transition, environmental law enforcement experience, and yearly local performance evaluation. In addition, points of contacts are created for various environmental protection cases. The meeting has yielded abundant results, building a good foundation for future environmental protection efforts.

The Northern Center of Environmental Management will continue to hold regular Work Communication Report Meetings with environmental protection agencies of county and city governments in the northern region as well as prosecution and police agencies to enforce regional environmental law enforcement and environmental management, striving to better environmental governance in the northern region.
