Environmental Management Administration

To supervise implementation agencies' proper operation and management of public landfills, ensure the work division of Article 5 of the "Waste Disposal Act," and easily manage individual landfill's information, the Environmental Mangement Administration built the "Public Landfill and Waste Transfer Facility Operation Management Information System" in 2011. The system effectively manages Taiwan's public landfill and waste transfer facility operation management status, including basic information, management status, waste treatment capacity, and live images. Landfill management units regularly report operational information, allowing for effective supervision and management of Taiwan's public landfill operation management performance, thus enhancing the efficiency of administrative management. This is also used as a reference for policymaking, facilitating the planning of waste dispatch and facility improvement.
