Waste Dumping Management System (WDMS)
- Description
-
To enhance case data management and effectively consolidate the capacities of environmental protection agencies at all levels, the original "Waste Illegal Disposal Site Query and Reporting System" has been restructured into the "Waste Dumping Management System" (WDMS). Additionally, regulations such as the "Reference Procedures for Clearing Waste on National or Public Land" and "Procedures for Clearing Waste Dumped on Private Land" have been issued, while procedures are established for managing sites with unidentified waste dumping, which includes critical steps like site registration and listing, site investigation, site patrol, and waste cleanup tracking. This improves the efficiency of managing waste disposal site cases, facilitating the query of cases for various units to keep track of site details and case progress, thus enabling the Environmental Management Administration to comprehensively monitor all illegal dumping cases.
