Lin Tso-Hsiang

Deputy Director General Lin is a graduate of the National Taiwan University Graduate Institute of Environmental Engineering. Having served as a civil servant for 37 years, he is dedicated to the promotion of environmental protection affairs. Aside from supervising the implementation of the world's first national food waste recycling and reuse program, realizing the sustainable reuse of resources, he also pioneered Taiwan's large waste recycling and reuse program as well as locations for the disposal of illegally dumped business waste, building the foundation for a society of resource circulation. In addition, he planned and implemented the special program of law enforcement action against heavy metal pollution source businesses, achieving the goal of forcefully removing and cutting off electricity and water from illegal factories. He was awarded Executive Yuan Model Civil Servant, 2005, and the Civil Servant Outstanding Contribution Award, 2005.
