Lee Chi-Hua

Division Chief Lee holds a master’s degree in environmental engineering from National Chung Kung University. After graduating in 2000, he served at the Environmental Protection Bureau, Taipei County Government, as the first group of alternative servicemen in environmental protection. In 2003, he became a civil servant and returned to serve at the Environmental Protection Bureau, Taipei County Government, mainly responsible for landfill construction projects. In 2006, he was transferred to the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA), Executive Yuan, where he has served for over 20 years today. His work has spanned the management of nationwide public nuisance petitions; environmental engineer certification inspections, which effectively enhanced engineer certification quality; the active expansion of the Green Mark and green procurement, broadening the green consumer market, as well as co-founding the carbon emission label and Green Point systems on top of facilitating partnerships and promoting net-zero lifestyles to encourage the public’s eco-awareness. As a civil servant, he was selected as outstanding research, development and evaluation personnel of the Research, Development and Evaluation Commission, Executive Yuan in 2008, as well as a model civil servant of the EPA, Executive Yuan in 2013, and a model civil servant of the Ministry of Environment in 2025.
