Division Chief of Division of Environmental Sanitation

Lin Yi-Fang

Having served as a civil servant since 1998, Lin’s career has spanned over 28 years to date. While serving as a division chief in the Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, she oversaw the recycling and reuse of general waste, including food waste and bulky waste; the promotion of occupational safety, health, and welfare for sanitation workers; and the management of the collection and transportation of household garbage. After the establishment of the Environmental Management Administration under the Ministry of Environment, she served as chief and deputy chief of the Division of Environmental Sanitation. During this time, she oversaw initiatives such as the cleaning, maintenance, and management of public restrooms and the promotion of proper restroom etiquette; occupational safety, health, and welfare for sanitation workers; household waste collection and transportation; emergency response and cleanup of disaster-generated waste; environmental cleanup activities for dengue fever prevention; and the coastal cleanup and maintenance work carried out under the “Salute to the Sea” program.
